Digital Marketing Specialist

Payactiv is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Growth Team. You’ll be writing compelling copy primarily for campaigns that accelerate customer engagement, improve acquisition and increase retention in alignment with our brand and values. You’ll play an integral part in growing our users and usage for various products and services that make a positive impact in the lives of millions of our users. You’ll think creatively and write for campaigns within social, email, text, in-app, and print channels. You are a critical part of a team responsible for the success of our platform. On a daily basis, you’ll also collaborate with Marketing, Product, Sales, Operations, Compliance, and Leadership. You are a creative and compelling storyteller, witty, engage with users, sweat the smallest details, understand what it takes to develop impactful creative work, and have no hesitation to express your opinion. What you’ll do…

• Write copy for email, text, and in-app campaigns, social posts, display ads, growth marketing campaigns, and SEO
• Translate content and marketing strategies into copy that communicates the core values of our products and services
• Learn how to use customer and data insights to create inspiring work
• Bring fresh ideas that push creative work forward
• Consider user journey across several products and feature touchpoints
• Be willing to iterate quickly and receive feedback constructively
• Work with others to write within the guides of our brand voice and tone

What you need…

• 4 years of writing experience in consumer financial services
• Ability to explain the benefits of products in simple, human ways to consumers
• Interest in understanding performance-based marketing strategies and using data to make smart, hardworking creative deliverables
• Interest in technology and the future evolution of content creation and distribution
• Marketing campaign examples showcased in a portfolio is a bonus
• Well versed in G Suite and Microsoft Office
