Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Database Analyst/Administrator to support the Administrative Office of the US Courts (AOUSC). You will maintain mission-critical databases, optimize performance, and help design scalable data models within an Agile environment.

You will collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, performing data analysis, ETL design, and on-call support as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of server database maintenance and analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience supporting production databases with on-call responsibilities.
• Cloud certification (AWS) preferred, e.g., AWS Database Specialty.
• Proficiency with AWS database technologies and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for mission-critical database environments with on-call coverage.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and coordinate with teams to restore service.
• Perform root-cause analysis and contribute to stability improvements.
• Develop and document standards for security, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to map business requirements to technical specs.
• Develop stored procedures, views, and ETL processes; design data models.
