Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in database maintenance/analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience supporting production database systems with on-call responsibilities.
• AWS database technologies experience (Aurora PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and data migrations.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for mission-critical database environments with on-call coverage.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, coordinate with dev/ops teams.
• Perform root-cause analysis and contribute to stability improvements.
• Work in an Agile environment with daily scrums and sprints.
• Develop standards for performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Define and map data elements and relationships for integration.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to gather requirements and translate to tech specs.
• Document complex workflows for project teams and stakeholders.
• Synthesize data to guide business decisions using advanced analytics.
