Job summary

Chandra Technologies, Inc. is seeking a senior AWS developer in Raleigh with 10-15 years of software development experience.

You will design, implement and manage AWS data lake solutions, modernize legacy apps, and collaborate with ITD/DPH teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud architectures. You will leverage Python, AWS services, and DevOps practices to build robust ETL pipelines, ensure governance, and mentor others.

Qualifications

Senior AWS developer with 10-15 years of software development experience.
Experience modernizing legacy applications to the cloud.
Proficient in Python scripting; object‑oriented languages a plus.
Extensive use of AWS services to build data lakes and ETL pipelines.
Security, data governance, auditing, and compliance experience.
Experience with DevOps/CI‑CD practices and IaC.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose modernization strategies.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting throughout project delivery.
Act as trusted advisor on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Develop, test, debug and deliver solutions within timelines.
Identify and mitigate architectural risks and ensure standards adherence.
Design and implement scalable, secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
Communicate effectively with non-technical audiences including leadership.
