Job summary

HonorVet Technologies is seeking a Senior AWS Developer in Raleigh, NC. The role emphasizes hands-on design, development, and deployment of enterprise AWS Data Lake and data engineering solutions with Python, security, and DevSecOps focus.

You will work in a hybrid environment, contributing to data modernization initiatives, IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and AWS security leadership across projects.

Qualifications

10–15 years of software development experience.
Extensive hands-on AWS Data Lake design and development.
Experience with AWS data engineering services.
Strong Python development and scripting skills.
Experience with IAM, encryption, auditing, and governance.
Experience with DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements and recommend cloud modernization strategies.
Design, develop, test, debug, and deliver scalable AWS solutions.
Develop and implement enterprise-level AWS Data Lake solutions.
Build data ingestion, storage, processing, and transformation pipelines.
Implement security controls, encryption, auditing, and compliance.
Develop CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps/DevSecOps practices.
Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, monitoring, and logging.
Work in Agile/Scrum environments.
