New York Technology Partners seeks an AWS Data Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-scale data platforms on AWS. You will own architectures, guide teams, and actively contribute to development as a player-coach.

The ideal candidate defines architecture, builds scalable solutions, and enforces best practices across data engineering, analytics, and governance, mentoring engineers and driving cloud modernization.

Competenze

12+ years overall experience with 5–7+ years in AWS data architecture.
Hands-on leadership with end-to-end data platform ownership on AWS.
Strong ability to translate business needs into scalable data architectures.

Mansioni

Define and own end-to-end data architecture on AWS (ingestion, storage, transformation, consumption).
Design scalable, secure data platforms (lakehouse, modern data stack).
Set standards for data modeling, partitioning, metadata, lifecycle management.
Architect batch and real-time data processing solutions.
Build pipelines using AWS Glue, EMR, Lambda, Step Functions.
Develop ETL/ELT pipelines with PySpark, SQL, Python.
Implement reusable data transformation frameworks.
