Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Cloud Lead- AWS DevSecOps to design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure and secure deployment pipelines. The role emphasizes DevSecOps, Terraform, and AWS CDK with container platforms, observability, and compliance in enterprise settings.

The position is remote in the USA with eligibility for Cognizant’s incentive program. Strong emphasis on security, governance, and multi-account AWS architectures will be essential for success.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services is required.
• Hands-on Terraform and AWS CDK expertise is essential.
• Strong background in GitLab CI/CD and pipeline automation.
• Proven experience with container platforms such as ECS/EKS or Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust GitLab CI/CD pipelines for multi-environment deployments.
• Configure GitLab Runners (EC2/EKS) for scalable, secure execution.
• Optimize pipelines with parallelism, caching, and artifact reuse.
• Implement automated release management with tagging and rollback strategies.
• Develop IaC using Terraform and AWS CDK with reusable patterns.
• Automate provisioning of AWS services across multi-account setups.
• Build and manage deployments to ECS/EKS with Helm and registries.
• Integrate security controls (SAST/DAST) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish observability using CloudWatch, Datadog, and Grafana.
• Troubleshoot issues across CI/CD, infra, and runtime environments.
