Job summary

Tieto in Irving, TX seeks an experienced Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to design, automate, and operate secure cloud platforms. You will own AWS networking, IAM, secret management, and IaC pipelines, collaborating with security and development teams to deliver reliable, compliant workloads.

The role emphasizes hands-on deployment, incident response, monitoring, and performance tuning across cloud and on-prem boundaries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud security.
• Strong knowledge of AWS networking, IAM, KMS, S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Systems Manager, and private connectivity.
• Experience operating private, regulated, or enterprise AWS environments.
• IaC experience with Terraform; CloudFormation or AWS CDK is beneficial.
• GitHub Actions or comparable CI/CD platforms.
• Proficiency with AWS CLI, Linux, Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Understanding of identity federation, SAML/OIDC, secrets management, encryption, and least-privilege access.
• Ability to troubleshoot across cloud, networking, security, app, and on-prem boundaries.
• Experience with monitoring, incident response, change management, and production operations.
