Job summary

Robots & Pencils is seeking a seasoned AWS AI Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade AI platforms on AWS. You will architect scalable, secure AI systems leveraging Bedrock, SageMaker, and serverless services.

You will validate designs, mentor engineers, and ensure alignment with the AWS Well‑Architected Framework while delivering measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering or cloud architecture with deep AWS ownership.
• Deep expertise in Bedrock and related AWS AI services.
• Strong knowledge of SageMaker, model lifecycle, and AI/ML concepts.
• Experience architecting RAG, multi-agent, and orchestration systems on AWS.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Hands-on Python development and AWS SDKs.
• Security, governance, and cost-optimization awareness for enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary AWS AI architecture partner for strategic clients from discovery to production.
• Lead architecture design using Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, and AWS native services.
• Design advanced RAG and multi-agent orchestration architectures with AWS components.
• Produce reference architectures, ADRs, and implementation roadmaps aligned to business goals.
• Validate feasibility through hands-on prototyping in Python using Bedrock SDKs and SageMaker.
• Ensure architectures follow AWS Well‑Architected Framework and security best practices.
