You will produce, manage and underwrite new and renewal business from assigned agents and brokers, aiming for budgeted premium volume and controlled expenses.

The role emphasizes agency relationships, travel to meet producers, and rigorous documentation plus leadership of portfolio teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, discuss and interpret financial statements and contract documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to write reports.
• Ability to manage and develop people.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Experience with underwriting tools and data systems.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the profit center for a particular line of business.
• Produce, manage and underwrite new and renewal business from assigned agents/brokers.
• Achieve budgeted financial results including premium volume, loss ratio, premium collections and expense management.
• Interact with a team of Line of Business colleagues and other internal/external business associates.
• Travel to develop and enhance producer and account relationships.
• Communicate mission and objectives to agents and clients with professionalism.
• Accountable for accurate underwriting documentation and data integrity.
• Diligently manage collections of receivables, especially over 90 days.
