Fortitude Reinsurance Company Ltd. in Bermuda-based operations seeks an AVP, Investment Accounting to lead day-to-day investment data management, accounting, reporting and analytics across GAAP, STAT, Bermuda SFS and EBS under the VP.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, strong leadership, and a track record of improving close cycles, reconciliations and regulatory reporting. You will mentor offshore teams and drive automation including AI-enabled tools.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of accounting experience focusing on investments.
• Experience with GAAP, STAT, Bermuda SFS, and EBS reporting.
• Strong leadership and mentoring for accounting staff.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume reconciliations.
• Experience with automation and AI in reporting.
• Excellent communication with executives, auditors, and regulators.

Responsabilidades

• Own day-to-day investment accounting and reporting across GAAP/STAT.
• Process investment transactions accurately and timely.
• Oversee reconciliations of positions, trades, and cash.
• Investigate variances with root-cause analysis.
• Manage valuation governance and fair value monitoring.
• Support audit requests and regulatory reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement in close and reporting.
• Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and scale.
• Mentor offshore resources and coordinate cross-team workflows.
• Ensure SOX compliance and internal controls.
