Job summary

Preferred candidates hold advanced degrees in related fields and have strong CMMS/Procore experience to drive energy efficiency and compliance initiatives across campus.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in facilities management in institutional settings.
• Five years in charge of a facilities management organization or major component.
• Knowledge of facilities planning, design, construction, maintenance, utilities, and financial management.
• Excellent administrative, supervisory, and written/oral communication skills.
• Understanding of CMMS, scheduling software, and Procore.

Responsibilities

• Manage department of ~65 employees and oversee operations.
• Oversee annual budget of about $13.5 million and $10M renovation volume.
• Direct contracts for custodial and grounds services.
• Supervise Environmental Safety & Health, Facilities, and related teams.
• Develop capital budget policies through development and approval.
• Implement policies for facilities and utilities management.
• Maintain campus master plan and building data.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Coordinate communication with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Present to legislative committees and the Board of Regents.
