Job summary

WSP is seeking an AVP, Project Manager for its New York, NY office. You will lead a diverse team of engineers and staff from initiation through completion with minimal oversight, coordinating with clients, preparing proposals, and managing budgets and invoices.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of project/program management experience in engineering/construction, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, construction management or PM.
• 10+ years in project/program management on large engineering/construction projects.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing cost, schedule, and scope.
• Strong written and oral communication with client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams of engineers, designers and staff through multiple projects.
• Prepare project work plans, proposals, schedules, and obtain approvals.
• Maintain client communications and project status updates; manage issues and change orders.
• Manage project budgets, invoices, and closeout activities; monitor KPIs.
