Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Associate Vice President of Adjudication Services for CVS Caremark. This role owns the technology strategy, delivery and operational performance of the prescription claims adjudication platform across Commercial Programs, Government Services and Enterprise Strategic initiatives.

You will lead 500+ engineers and steward a $60M+ technology portfolio, driving a cloud-native, API-first architecture and real-time/batch integrations with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in technology, software engineering, application delivery or platform leadership.
• Experience owning mission-critical platforms with demanding availability, performance and security.
• Leadership of large-scale transformation involving AI, cloud, microservices, API strategy and integration.
• Strong financial and portfolio management with investment prioritization and vendor management.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability, performance, accuracy and compliance of the claims adjudication platform.
• Create a North Star strategy and executable roadmap across portfolios.
• Modernize via cloud-native, microservices architecture and API-driven integration.
• Embed AI, DevSecOps, test automation and observability into platform operations.
• Lead a high-performing organization and develop future senior technology leaders.
