Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking an Avionics Test Lead to manage a team of test engineers responsible for automated test systems for Terran R electronics. You will collaborate with cross-functional hardware and software teams to create manufacturing test assets for acceptance and qualification testing.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field; 5+ years in electronics hardware development.
• Experience leading test engineering teams and establishing engineering best practices and standards.
• Experience owning complex automated test system design for low-voltage electronics including embedded controllers, flight computers, comms/nav systems.
• Strong understanding of Ethernet, CAN, RS-422/485, UART, SPI, I2C and related interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portion of the Avionics Test team to design and implement automated test systems.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to develop manufacturing test assets for acceptance/qualification testing.
• Mentor engineers and promote high-performance culture and practices.
• Support Terran R electronics in development and production test environments.
