Job summary

The Blackhawk Group is seeking an Avionics Technician III in Glendale, AZ to perform inspections, repairs, and alterations on various aircraft. The role requires strong experience with piston and jet aircraft, including FAA standards, and opportunities to lead major projects and train junior technicians.

Qualifications

Thorough knowledge of FARs 43, 91, 135, 145; quality system experience preferred.
Minimum of three years avionics modifications experience or documented equivalent.

Responsibilities

Perform avionics installations, troubleshoot and repair avionics and airframe electrical systems.
Conduct aircraft test flights and in-air troubleshooting of avionics components.
Inspect wire installations with minimal supervision.
Lead major avionics projects and manage assigned technicians.
Provide training to Avionics Technicians I & II.
