Job summary

ADP is seeking an Avionics Technician III to lead advanced troubleshooting, installation, and certification support for avionics on large cabin aircraft. You will guide complex work scopes and ensure FAA regulations and OEM specs are met.

You will collaborate with engineering and quality teams, mentor junior technicians, and contribute to aircraft completions, modifications, and return-to-service activities, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have deep knowledge of avionics systems, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex avionics issues independently.
• Experience in aircraft completions, MRO, or modification environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced installation, integration, and testing of avionics systems on large cabin aircraft.
• Lead troubleshooting and fault isolation for complex avionics systems including communication, navigation, IFEC, connectivity, and cabin management systems.
• Interpret and validate engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and system schematics.
• Support system integration, configuration, and functional testing across avionics platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior avionics technicians.
