Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is seeking an Avionics Technician III in Dayton, Ohio. You will lead installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics systems, while mentoring junior technicians and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience, strong knowledge of schematics, and proficient use of wiring, soldering and diagnostic tools. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to advance in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in avionics.
• Higher degree may substitute for experience.
• Advanced knowledge of avionics systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and maintenance of avionics equipment.
• Diagnose and repair complex avionics issues.
• Conduct comprehensive testing of avionics systems.
• Document maintenance activities accurately.
• Ensure compliance with FCC, FAA, and company standards.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide training.
• Maintain organized work area.
