Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks an Avionics Technician IV to supervise maintenance teams and oversee complex diagnostics and repairs. The role ensures safety and regulatory compliance while managing documentation and procedures.

The position supports CONUS/OCONUS deployments and ongoing training of staff. The candidate will leverage extensive avionics expertise, interpret detailed schematics, and lead high-standard maintenance activities across varied environments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Avionics; DoD/clearance preferred.
• Experience with avionics schematics, wiring diagrams and publications.
• Ability to deploy for extended periods to CONUS/OCONUS locations.
• Advanced installation tooling, wiring, soldering and crimping techniques.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing, and repair of avionics systems.
• Oversee complex diagnostics and troubleshooting tasks.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with regulations and are documented.
• Conduct advanced training sessions for avionics staff.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and coordinate with other departments.
