Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks an Avionics Technician II to install, test, troubleshoot and repair avionics systems. You will work independently, maintain detailed maintenance records, and ensure compliance with FCC, FAA and company regulations.

The role supports ongoing ISR and aviation programs with field deployments. The position requires lifting, travel, and extended hours, with readiness to deploy for 90/90 rotations and to support customer locations globally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ years of avionics experience; higher degree may substitute.
• Proficiency in electronic principles and troubleshooting; ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair avionics systems.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with FCC, FAA and company regulations.
• Assist in training junior technicians.
• Travel to customer locations and deploy to CONUS/OCONUS locations as required.
