Job summary

True Anomaly is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to lead cross-domain systems integration across avionics subsystems. You will own systems engineering, requirements decomposition, interface control, and integration planning for the spacecraft avionics architecture, representing the Space Vehicle Avionics team in design reviews and customer engagements.

• Experience decomposing requirements, assigning traceability in avionics contexts.
• Proven ability to coordinate hardware and software interfaces across domains.
• Experience leading design reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills across engineering and program management.

Responsibilities

• Own requirements decomposition and flow-down across avionics and power subsystems.
• Develop and negotiate ICDs between avionics and broader spacecraft systems.
• Lead cross-domain integration planning across digital, FPGA, EPS, and comms.
• Drive trade studies spanning avionics boundaries with clear recommendations.
• Lead/design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) as avionics representative.
• Interpret customer specs, identify risk, drive resolution with teams.
• Define avionics verification/validation strategy and mapping to tests.
• Collaborate with EPS on power budgeting and interface definition.
• Work with hardware engineers on unit requirements and interfaces.
• Support sprint planning and schedule tracking for the Avionics Subsystem.
• Identify and mitigate technical/programmatic risks with leads.
• Maintain avionics program docs: plans, schedules, reviews, status.
• Mentor junior engineers in systems engineering and problem solving.
