Job summary

Canvas Canvas II, LLC. is seeking a Senior Avionics Engineer to lead design, development, and integration of complex military electrical and electronic systems at Robins AFB GA, with remote work consideration for some roles.

The candidate will oversee hardware/software specifications and verification across multiple programs. The role demands advanced degrees with extensive DoD/ISR experience and a TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in a related field with ten years of experience (DoD or USG ISR/SOF preferred)
• OR a bachelor’s degree with twelve years of experience in the discipline, five in DoD/USG ISR/SOF organizations
• ABET-accredited engineering program required for degree

Responsibilities

• Provide highly technical expertise to solve complex engineering problems
• Oversee hardware design, development, integration, and verification in avionics systems
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
• Support planning, analysis, design, configuration management, verification and validation tasks
• Participate in design reviews, FATs, and airworthiness certification processes
