Job summary

RTX/Collins Aerospace seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to develop avionics flight display systems for air transport platforms. You will own system requirements from architecture through verification, collaborating with hardware, software, FPGA, and safety teams in a hybrid setting.

The role requires STEM education with 5+ years of experience, and knowledge of ARP4754A/DO-254/DO-160. FAA/EASA processes preferred; relocation may be available.

Qualifications

• STEM degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in systems or subsystem development; customer-facing experience beneficial.
• Knowledge of FAA/EASA certification processes and ARP4754A/DO-254/DO-160/DO-180.

Responsibilities

• Develop and decompose system-level requirements for flight display products.
• Collaborate on architecture definition, interface control, and technical trades across product lines.
• Integrate display system hardware, software, and subsystems in labs and projects.
• Support verification planning, test development, and ARP4754 objectives.
