Job summary

RTX in the United States is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern in the Avionics Air Transport Displays department. You will work with systems, software, and hardware engineers to develop flight deck display solutions for commercial jet airplanes.

Gain experience across the system development lifecycle, learning ARINC 661/664 and ARP-4754 while contributing to tests and tooling. This hybrid role offers mentorship and hands-on aerospace exposure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in STEM.
• Minimum of 60 credit hours by start of internship/co‑op session.
• Experience with at least one programming or scripting language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute system-level tests for Avionics Display Systems.
• Create software tools to support display system integration, verification and validation.
• Collaborate with systems, software and hardware engineers.
