Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Math or aerospace engineering discipline.
• 7–10 years of engineering experience in aerospace or regulated industries.
• Experience in full life cycle design of aerospace systems or highly regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Capture, develop and maintain system and subsystem requirements.
• Develop product architectures for systems, hardware, and software to meet performance and safety requirements.
• Produce and maintain project artifacts related to planning, requirements, design, validation and verification.
• Help manage, write and review ARP4754, DO-254, and DO-178 certification artifacts.
• Review designs against upper-level requirements.
• Maintain configuration management of the requirements using DOORS.
• Lead design activities in collaboration with engineering, test, and quality.
• Serve as primary contact for technical discussions with customers and suppliers.
• Participate in risk assessments and contingency planning.
