Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 5+ years experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• 5 years of software development experience in Ada, Java, C++, Python.
• Experience in both embedded systems and hosted application software development.
• Experience with real-time, multi-threaded embedded systems, LynxOS and PowerPC.
• Experience with data processing, sensor integration, and human-machine interface design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and integrate software for Tactical Situational Awareness in avionics.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and product teams to define software requirements.
• Develop prototypes and explore new technologies for avionics systems.
• Create algorithms for real-time data fusion, visualization, and decision-support.
• Ensure safety-critical compliance with DO-178C and optimize performance.
