Job summary

Credence seeks a senior Avionics Software Engineering Support to back the AFLCMC/WAM F-16 upgrade program at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The role focuses on developing and integrating OFP software, radar, and display processor code in alignment with USAF requirements.

The candidate will verify and certify software for airworthiness, coordinate with prime contractors, and help resolve SPARs and related defects, while maintaining DoD standards.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance required.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree required (Electrical/Mechanical/Aerospace).
• Master’s/Doctoral in related field with 10+ years DoD experience or Bachelor’s with 12+ years DoD experience.

Responsibilities

• Support OFP software development for USAF F-16 upgrade programs.
• Assist design, integration, verification and airworthiness qualification of F-16 software.
• Support OFP updates per OFP Development guidelines.
• Assist monitoring of the new Systems Integration Lab (SIL).
• Support Warfighter Council/ Pilot Vehicle Interface requirements reviews.
