Job summary

Credence Management Solutions, LLC is seeking engineers to support the development of Operational Flight Program software for a major USAF F‑16 upgrade program. The role involves avionics upgrades including new mission computers, display processors, weapons, AESA radar, and sensors.

You will assist in engineering design, development, integration, verification, airworthiness qualification, and fielding of OFP/ radar/ display processor software, plus updates per F‑16 OI 63‑25.

Qualifications

• Active or current top-secret clearance verifiable in DISS.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree required (electrical/mechanical/aerospace).
• Master's or Doctoral degree with 10 years DoD experience (5 years DoD).
• Bachelor's degree with 12 years DoD experience (5 years DoD).
• 15 years related experience with proper certifications (8 years DoD).
• ABET-accredited degree in electrical/computer engineering recommended.
• Expertise in OFP development and translating/re-hosting programs to newer languages/processors.
• Expertise using C++ in DoD aerospace software.

Responsibilities

• Support development of OFP software for a major USAF F-16 upgrade program incorporating complex avionics upgrades, including new mission computers, display processors, weapons, AESA radar, and sensors.
• Support engineering and technical design, development, integration, verification, qualification for airworthiness certification, and fielding of F‑16 software, including OFP, radar, and display processor software.
• Support implementation of OFP updates as defined in F‑16 OI 63‑25, "OFP Development."
• Assist in monitoring and assessing prime contractor development of a new Systems Integration Lab (SIL).
• Support Warfighter Council Review meetings for requirements definition and refinement, as well as Pilot Early Look meetings to define and review Pilot Vehicle Interface (PVI) requirements, track requirements changes, and coordinate programmatic interdependencies.
• Support resolution of Software Program Anomaly Reports (SPARs), WITs, and related defects.
