Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix seeks an Engineering Project Leader to drive avionics program cost, schedule and technical performance across multiple Centers of Excellence. You’ll lead a cross-functional team and be the primary decision-maker on program execution.

Will manage staffing, risk, and pursuit activities, ensuring alignment with the annual operating plan and customer expectations. PMP/CAPM desired; bachelor’s in engineering or related field and 10+ years of PM experience required.

Qualifications

• PM certification such as PMP or CAPM is required or will be pursued after hire.
• Experience in aerospace program management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Avionics Engineering Programs across multiple Centers of Excellence
• Work with CBT, PMO, and other leadership
• Manage engineering cost and schedule
• Assess and drive achievement of programs
• Strategy development
• Early problem detection and course correction
• Annual Operating Plan
• Manage short and long term staffing needs
• Involvement with program pursuits and launches
• Manage Program Metrics
