Job summary

Radiance Technologies is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and qualify missile electronics and power architectures. You will own hardware across the full lifecycle from concept through flight test support, including onboard avionics, power distribution, and interconnects.

You will work hands‑on with high‑reliability PCBA design, MIL‑STD compliance, and lab/HWIL environments, requiring active DoD security clearance and pursuit of mission‑critical solutions.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. (5+ years) or M.S. (3+ years) in Electrical/Computer Engineering with aerospace/high‑reliability electronics experience.
• Hands‑on experience integrating IMUs and sensor interfaces with flight computer systems.
• Schematic capture and PCB layout using industry‑standard EDA tools (Altium, Cadence, Mentor).
• Experience with defense/industrial buses: MIL‑STD‑1553, ARINC 429, Ethernet/UDP, CAN, SPI, I2C.
• Knowledge of MIL‑STD‑461 EMI/EMC, MIL‑STD‑810 environmental testing, MIL‑STD‑704 aircraft/missile power.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Hardware & Avionics Design for rugged PCBAs with high reliability.
• Subsystem Integration & Interconnects: integrating GNC sensors and seeker's interfaces.
• Signal Integrity, EMI/EMC & qualification testing per standards.
• Lab Testing, HWIL and field support including test range campaigns.
