Job summary

Advanced Reentry Technologies seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to own hardware from concept through bring-up, testing, and deployment. You will work on mixed-signal, embedded, and SDR-based systems for next-generation reentry vehicles within the Avionics team.

You will collaborate with mechanical, RF, software, firmware, and systems teams, ensuring power, grounding, EMI/EMC, and signal integrity across complex hardware. Inversion ITAR compliance and security requirements apply.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mixed-signal, embedded, or avionics hardware in aerospace/defense or high-rel environments.
  • Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware integration.
  • Knowledge of power distribution, grounding, shielding, EMI/EMC, and signal integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical architectures for flight and ground hardware integration.
  • Develop schematics, interfaces, wiring, and electrical documentation for mixed-signal hardware.
  • Lead PCB development, component selection, bring-up, and design reviews.
