Actalent is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer in Clearwater, FL to translate complex avionics requirements into high-quality analog and digital PCB designs. You will own the full lifecycle, from component selection to test procedures, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards.

You’ll work on CCAs, perform simulations, document designs, and support production with technical guidance. A strong aerospace background, Altium skills, and FAA knowledge are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of board design experience in aerospace.
• Experience with circuit card assemblies (CCA) design, schematics and layouts.
• Proficiency in Altium or similar EDA tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis for hardware issues.
• Familiarity with FAA requirements for avionics hardware design.

• Translate avionics requirements into detailed analog and digital PCB designs.
• Select components meeting performance, reliability and regulatory needs.
• Perform simulations to validate designs and ensure spec compliance.
• Create and maintain detailed schematics and layouts for CCAs.
