Job summary

CTI Consulting & Staffing is partnering with a leading aviation instrumentation manufacturer to find a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for their team in Clearwater, Florida. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a company that has been building certified avionics products for commercial, military, and business aviation platforms for more than 70 years.

This role is hands-on, owning the full hardware design chain in a DO-254/DO-178C environment, including analog/digital board design,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on board design experience for aerospace applications.
• DO-254 and DO-178C structured hardware development guidelines familiarity.
• PCB layout review experience with Altium, PADS or Allegro.
• U.S. Person status required; on-site in Clearwater, FL.

Responsibilities

• Translate design requirements into analog and digital board designs with component selection, simulation, schematic capture, and layout reviews.
• Develop and execute test procedures for avionics board-level products.
• Perform PCB layout reviews using Altium, PADS, or Allegro.
• Interface with manufacturing for production test support and troubleshoot.
• Own the full hardware design cycle from requirements to documentation and test.
