RTX is seeking a Sr. Principal Avionics Lead to drive multidisciplinary system design and integration for advanced avionics products.

The role calls for strong leadership, systems engineering, and end-to-end ownership of electronics development, verification, and production readiness. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in electronics design, subsystem architecture, and CCA design, with an active DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in avionics/electronics.
• Experience in electrical subsystems and systems engineering is required.
• Active and transferable U.S. government DoD Secret clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsabilités

• Lead cross-functional teams through design, integration, and verification of avionics systems.
• Oversee Technical Data Package development, validation, and TE integration.
• Manage cost, schedule, and risk for electronics hardware and production.
• Mentor and collaborate with government customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
