Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an Avionics Integration and Test Engineer for the Engines Avionics team. You will own integration and verification of engine avionics spanning hardware, FPGA, embedded software, and control systems.

You will shape verification strategy, author requirements, and drive cross‑discipline decisions toward safe, reliable engine performance. Primary locations include Kent, WA and Huntsville, AL.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience bringing up and troubleshooting electronic hardware, reading schematics and interface control documents.
• Experience with formalized verification activities (test cases, procedures, reports) and driving requirements to closure.
• Experience authoring requirements, interface control documents, or design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Bring up and functionally test engine avionics units across hardware, FPGA, software, and controls boundaries.
• Set verification strategy for avionics subsystems and lead verification campaigns.
• Define verification methods and write procedures and test reports; drive requirements to closure.
• Author and maintain requirements and interface/control documents for hardware, FPGA, software, and controls teams.
• Integrate avionics into engine systems and support stand and hot-fire test campaigns.
