Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics with 9+ years of related experience or MS with 7+ years
• Avionics subsystems experience including Communication, Navigation, Data Link, Computer, Network, Antenna, SIGINT, EW, Weapons, Radar or Sensor domains
• US Government Interim Secret clearance to start, ability to obtain final Secret clearance and SAP access

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of avionics engineers on a Global Surveillance program in Melbourne, FL and performs an avionics technical SOW
• Provides functional leadership and direction, manages performance and staffing within the section
• Coordinates with programs to ensure staffing actions and adherence to engineering processes and tools
• Acts as first point of contact for performance issues, escalates as needed for resolution
• Oversees day-to-day operation of the functional organization including budgets, staffing, employee development and charging practices
