Relativity Space is seeking an electrical hardware engineer for the Avionics team to design, test, and analyze Terran R electronics from concept to flight maturity. You will collaborate across teams to ensure reliable, on-schedule hardware development that powers the rocket and factory operations.

The role requires deep electronics expertise, strong project management, and hands-on bring-up and validation skills to achieve flight readiness and robust performance in harsh environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical / Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in electronics for harsh environments such as aerospace.
• Experience with board-level design and hardware bring-up.
• Familiar with Altium or equivalent eCAD software.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and analyze custom avionics electronics for Terran R.
• Oversee hardware development from concept to flight readiness.
• Coordinate with mechanical, thermal, software teams to ensure integration.
• Validate designs through verification and qualification activities.
