Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking an avionics engineer to own the development, test and integration of GPS-based navigation avionics for the Terran R vehicle. You will work with cross-functional teams across propulsion, GNC, mechanical, electrical and software to ensure robust RF systems from design through operations.

You will mentor hardware engineers on RF design fundamentals, conduct architectural trades, and develop acceptance tests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of electronics for harsh environments and mission-critical applications.
• Experience with hardware bring-up, validation and data analysis.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams (GNC, mechanical, electrical, software).

Responsibilities

• Own development, test and integration of GPS-based navigation avionics for Terran R.
• Develop acceptance and qualification test plans.
• Provide technical guidance across RF architecture, including telemetry downlinks and antenna deployment.
• Mentor hardware engineers on RF design fundamentals and review analyses.
