Job summary

Firefly Aerospace is seeking a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer to own circuit card development for flight hardware. You will design, simulate, and prototype complex digital/analog/power circuits for our common avionics platform across launch vehicles and spacecraft.

Work closely with systems, mechanical, software, and test teams in a fast-paced environment, leading troubleshooting and ensuring aerospace design conformity. Texas-based on-site role with strong hardware focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on PCB design and hardware development.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and layout for digital/analog/power circuits.
• Experience with Altium or similar EDA tools.
• Experience with component selection, circuit simulations, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end circuit card development for flight hardware.
• Develop features for a common avionics platform used across vehicles.
• Perform trade studies, requirement capture, and detailed design.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and test engineering teams.
• Lead root-cause analysis using standard test equipment.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace design guidelines.
