Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Senior Avionics Engineer to join our AD&S Electrical Engineering team. You will review and design electrical integration details, ensuring documentation and stakeholder communication for fast-paced defense projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Power system analysis, simulation, and testing to optimize solutions.
• Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DMM, analyzers) and basic software debugging.
• Familiarity with CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, RS232/422, RS485, USB interfaces.
• Strong organization and communication skills; eligible for U.S. security clearance.
• Experience with mixed-signal PCBs, power management, and cable harnessing.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle PCB design from requirements to bring-up and system integration.
• Lead microcontroller bring-up and seamless system integration.
• Troubleshoot across electrical and software boundaries with lab equipment.
• Develop power management systems and load analyses.
• Create system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers.
• Participate in peer reviews and design reviews.
