Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to own the aircraft’s testing lifecycle on the production line, designing, writing, and executing ATPs to verify flight-readiness, sensor performance, and safety-of-flight systems on the Fury aircraft, bridging design engineering and production.

You will train flight-line technicians, troubleshoot avionics and electrical failures, and drive continuous improvement to scale throughput, using MES and GSE, and collaborating with Flight

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in a production test environment, focusing on aircraft, UAV, or aerospace system-level testing.
• Experience writing and executing hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, system-level ATPs, and avionics functional checkouts on a production line.
• Familiarity with aircraft communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, RS-232/485) and standard electronics test equipment.
• Experience with PLM and MES to manage test configurations and documentation.
• Strong technical writing skills translating requirements into clear technician instructions.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Author and maintain ATPs and test plans for safety-of-flight systems on the Fury aircraft.
• Execute system-level checkouts, including power-on tests, flight control actuation sweeps, wire harness continuity, sensor calibrations, and integrated avionics testing.
• Troubleshoot electrical, communication, and mechanical integration failures; identify root causes and implement CAPA/RCCA.
• Train, certify, and support technicians on test procedures, GSE, and MES logging.
• Analyze test data and cycle times to identify bottlenecks and optimize ATPs and scripts to reduce test duration.
• Collaborate with Flight Test, Quality, and Design Engineering to feed production data back into design updates.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure precision and reliability.
