Gulfstream is seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician 4 at the Van Nuys facility. You will lead, test and repair avionics/electrical systems to ensure a defect-free aircraft. Prior Gulfstream or corporate aircraft experience is preferred.

Base pay ranges from $36.80 to $48.30 per hour, with final compensation based on qualifications and location. Education requirements: High School Diploma or GED; six years in avionics/electrical field, or two years of accredited aviation electronics schooling

Qualifikationen

• Six years in avionics/electrical field or two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics plus four years related experience.
• A&P license, FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Demonstrates superior technical skills in avionics testing and troubleshooting.
• Provides training to personnel to support cross-training goals.
• Teaches installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components per specs and manuals.
• Ensures quality and efficiency of all installations and repairs.
• Oversees compliance with engineering changes and modifications.
• Sets up and operates test equipment and conducts functional tests.
• Maintains daily logs and paperwork for all aircraft work.
• Coordinates with other disciplines on projects.
