Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Lincoln, CA, seeks an Aircraft Component Repair Technician 2 for the second shift to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical components. You will read blueprints, follow CMMs, and perform soldering to IPC standards using test benches with scopes and meters.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and ~2 years of related experience. Overtime and alternate shifts may be required; competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; able to interpret blueprints and engineering documents.
• Experience in related fields such as sheetmetal, electrical/electronic systems, or hydraulic overhaul is preferred.
• Must be able to read schematics and follow Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs).
• Overtime and alternate shifts may be required to meet peak business needs.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul aircraft assemblies and components per repair station data.
• Set up and operate test equipment to perform functional tests.
• Inspect parts for conformity using blueprints and manuals.
• Perform soldering and repair of electrical circuits to IPC standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and a clean workspace.
