Job summary

Required are a high school diploma or GED and 5 years in avionics/electrical fields; 2 years of aviation electronics schooling may offset experience. A&P/FCC/NCATT certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years experience in avionics/electrical career field.
• 2 years of accredited schooling may offset two years of experience.
• A&P license, FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs tests and repairs of avionics/electronic systems to ensure a defect-free aircraft.
• Tests, troubleshoots and repairs avionics/electrical components per engineering specs.
• Documents work and maintains daily logs and paperwork.
• Ensures quality and efficiency of installations; teaches troubleshooting.
• Coordinates with other disciplines on projects and adapts to schedule changes.
• Operates necessary test equipment and conducts functional tests.
