Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design, hardware engineering, sustaining engineering, product engineering, failure analysis, or related electronics role.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting electronic assemblies, Circuit Card Assemblies, or complex electrical systems.
• Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, component data sheets, design requirements, tolerance information, and test results.
• Experience investigating product failures, developing root-cause hypotheses, and validating corrective actions through analysis or testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design defect resolution across the production lifecycle, including supplier, factory, integration, calibration, and test issues.
• Analyze schematics, PCB/CCA layouts, and component specs to identify failure mechanisms and root causes.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering and Operations to validate corrective actions and improve robustness, yield, and cost performance.
• Serve as the electrical engineering SME on the Displays Zero Defect team alongside Quality, Manufacturing, and Test Engineering.
• Assess defect data to identify patterns warranting design investigations and corrective actions.
• Contribute to problem-solving activities (A3, RCCA, 5-Why, Fishbone, PDCA) and apply lessons learned to future designs.
