The candidate will design electrical harnesses for various systems and collaborate with a skilled engineering team. A B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 7+ years in aerospace harness design is required. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing Wire Harnesses for the Aerospace industry.
• Familiar with harness standards: IPC/WHMA-A-620A, NASA-STD-8739.4.
• Experience with high-end CAD routing software.

Responsibilities

• Design of electrical harnesses for power distribution and communication.
• Select harness components and hardware.
• Build 3D routed harness data files using Creo.

Skills

Designing wire harnesses

Strong electrical/mechanical design

Experience with Creo and Windchill

Understanding EMI/RFI

Education

B.S. degree in Mechanical or appropriate engineering field
