Job summary

Vse Aviation Inc is seeking a Senior Customer Service Representative in Augusta, KS to provide expert-level technical support for aviation customers. You will troubleshoot complex inquiries, translate shop reports into quotes, and manage repairs and documentation across multiple orders.

The role requires 3+ years in technical customer service, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and familiarity with aviation regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years’ specific work experience in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of relevant/technical work experience, preferably in customer service.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical support to customers, addressing complex inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely resolution.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, understanding their technical requirements.
• Collaborate with sales and account management to address technical aspects and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, guides, and FAQs.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
• Manage repairs of units for customer accounts, generate work orders, quotations, RFQs, and invoicing daily.
• Translate technical data from shop reports into quotations under maintenance manuals.
• Respond promptly to inquiries with accurate, reliable aviation product information.
• Handle customer concerns via phone, email, or other channels.
• Maintain deep knowledge of company aviation products and specs.
• Multitask across high-volume calls/emails while prioritizing repair orders.
