Job summary

Landrum & Brown is seeking an experienced Senior Proposal Specialist to support the development of high-quality proposals and business development materials for aviation and transportation clients.

The Senior Proposal Specialist will manage proposals from solicitation review through final submission, working closely with technical professionals, business development leaders, marketing staff, and firm leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, English, or related field.
• 10+ years of career experience including 5–10 years of proposal development experience, preferably in aviation or transportation.
• Experience in other sectors within the Architecture, Engineering & Construction space is also of interest.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors, omissions, inconsistencies and compliance issues.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, organizational and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full proposal lifecycle for RFPs, RFQs, SOQs, and other client solicitations.
• Review solicitation documents and identify requirements, evaluation criteria, deadlines, and compliance needs.
• Develop proposal schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, assignments, and production plans.
• Coordinate proposal content with technical staff, project managers, business development leaders, and teaming partners.
• Write, edit, and refine proposal content to ensure it is clear, accurate, compelling, and responsive to client requirements.
