Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Aviation Engineering Project Manager to lead airside, landside, and airport facility projects in Boston, MA; Providence, RI; Burlington, MA; or Norwell, MA.

You will guide planning through implementation, coordinating with sponsors, regulators, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant aviation infrastructure. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of 10 years progressive engineering experience, including 2 years of project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage airside, landside, and facility-related aviation projects from planning through implementation, delivering practical, sustainable solutions that enhance airport operations, safety, and efficiency.
• Oversee aviation infrastructure project delivery including scope, budget, schedule, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate contracts, technical documentation, and collaboration with clients, regulators, and subcontractors.
• Drive project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly progress reviews.
• Develop and implement health and safety plans while ensuring regulatory compliance and QA/QC standards.
• Communicate project status, technical findings, and recommendations clearly to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Independently completes routine development of engineering design, preparation of specifications, compiles technical reports and other activities requiring knowledge of standard principles and techniques
