Job summary

Lockheed Martin seeks an experienced aircraft maintenance instructor to establish and direct comprehensive training systems for safe operation, maintenance, and repair of aircraft and related systems. You will write and edit materials, coordinate training with multiple sites, and ensure compliance with AeroCode 7666 and DCMA 8210.

Qualifications

• Experience in an aircraft maintenance instructor role.
• Experience in training content delivery and instructor methodologies.
• Maintain and create maintenance personnel training records for aircraft and non-aircraft training.
• Maintain Training program in accordance with AeroCode 7666.
• Ensure Training program complies with DCMA Instruction 8210.
• Track training compliance and coordinate completion of training for maintenance personnel and reports to management.
• Analyze training requirements to identify training needs and shortfalls.
• Coordinate and manage training meetings with management.
• Provide training metrics for maintenance personnel to management.
• Coordinate training locally and with Fort Worth Training Department for maintenance personnel.
• Coordinate and track medical certifications and scheduling.
• Coordinate with Navy Fleet Readiness Center to secure training and certification for Lockheed Martin personnel on Navy Support Equipment.
• Coordinate with Navy personnel for Lockheed Martin to secure training and certification for airfield driver’s licenses.
• Coordinate with Fort Worth to create local training courses in LM Talent Central.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and directs training systems and programs for aircraft maintenance.
• Directs classroom and practical instruction to provide technical knowledge for safe maintenance, repair and operation.
• Writes, edits, and produces materials for technical instruction.
• Coordinates all required technical training and outside contract sales technical training programs.
• Maintains currency in technical developments and audiovisual techniques.
